ARTIST | Antonella Sacconi
Photographer Antonella Sacconi, winds through a path of observation of structures and details of contemporary worldwide architecture. Her classical training allows her to find the ancient in the new that feeds on those classical principles.
Santiago Calatrava's Oculus in New York is an iconic building both for its significance and for the recognizable style of the great architect. It is completely white. Wrapped in a candid light, it forms games of lines that are beautiful to observe. I enjoyed playing with light and turning all that white into shades of gray.
