Working in an abstract expressionist style, Kristin Brin strives to convey a feeling of peace and contentment. She works primarily in acrylics, employing poured paint, pigment washes and adept brushwork as she plays with composition and balance. Brin studied at the Kansas City Art Institute, where she learned to "see" through brush and paint. Her work is held in numerous private collections. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
